WHAT IS HONEYMOON CROWDFUNDING?

Raise fund from your friends and families for your dream honeymoon. Crowdfunding (a form of crowdsourcing) is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people. Crowdfunding is a form of alternative finance, which has emerged outside of the traditional financial system.

We aim to create a platform that offer honeymoon crowdfunding service. Through crowdfunding, the couple will be able to enjoy savings on their honeymoon cost. It will be a new way to receive wishes and blessings from friends and families while acting as a alternative financial option for newlyweds that wish to have their dream honeymoon within their budget.

 

HOW DOES A HONEYMOON CROWDFUNDING WORK?

Register for free and choose a honeymoon package that you like. Afterwards you will be able to furnish your honeymoon campaign with more information. Once completed, share the link to your honeymoon campaign with your friends and families. You can share to your social medias, print it on your wedding reception or any other creative method you can think of.

Your guests will be able to view the campaign through the link and from there if they decided to contribute to your fund, our payment gateway will handle the rest.

 

IS THIS JUST FOR HONEYMOON?

We do not impose any restriction on the campaign. Feel free to raise fund for your anniversary vacation or other celebrations.

HOW DO I MAKE THE BEST OUT OF MY CAMPAIGN?

The keyword is SHARE. Make sure you get the word out by notifying all your friends and families. You can also make your page more interesting for your guests to view by uploading your wedding photos and videos.

Make your ‘Couple Challenges’ (optional) as creative as possible so your guests get to see the fun side of you. This can be a little act of appreciation for your guests. Be sure to keep your guests updated with your progress.

 

WHEN SHOULD I START MY CAMPAIGN?

We recommend you to start your campaign three months prior to your actual wedding day. This is great for guests who would like to send you a gift for your prewedding celebration or for people who'd just like send a token of their congratulations.

 

HOW MANY CAMPAIGN CAN I HAVE?

You are allowed to have only one on-going campaign. 

 

HOW LONG A CAMPAIGN WILL LAST?

Your campaign by default has a deadline of 75 days from your travel date. If you wish to extend the deadline, pelase drop us an email at support@lovesays.com.my 

 

MY CAMPAIGN IS COMPLETED. WHAT'S NEXT?

Once the campaign is completed, we will contact and follow up with you. We will start doing all the bookings and confirmations necessary with our travel partners.

 

WHAT IF THE CAMPAIGN DID NOT RECEIVE ENOUGH FUNDING?

Your honeymoon matters the most to us, as such we have the below options for your consideration:

  • You can top up the remaining balance price of the package that you chose.
  • Change the package choice to a lower value package.
  • Allow us to extend the duration of the campaign.
  • Request for refund and cancellation (we will minus 5% from the total collected fund amount to process the refund)

 

HOW DO MY GUEST MAKE CONTRIBUTION?

Visa and Mastercard credit card. Online bank transfer for Malaysia major banks account holders.

 

CAN I MAKE SPECIAL REQUEST TO INCLUDE ITEMS NOT IN THE PACKAGE? E.G. WINE, FLOWERS, CHOCHOLATES?

HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF THE PROGRESS?

You can do this when you log in to your account.

 

HOW DO I REDEEM THE PERKS?

You will get all the perks for your package after successfully completed your honeymoon campaign. 

Once your campaign is completed successfully, you will receive all the voucher codes via email. Further instructions will be given in the e-mail.

 

DO I RECEIVE THE MONEY IF MY CAMPAIGN IS CANCELLED?

No. Every contributions will be refunded back to the guests minus a small fee.

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO CONTRIBUTE?

Yes. But the will be registered for you automatically when you proceed to make contribution. From your account dashboard you will be able to view all your contributions record.

 

HOW TO ACCESS MY FRIEND'S CAMPAIGN? I LOST THEIR LINK.

Currently you can access to the couple’s page by clicking into the link shared by them. If you need help locating their campaign drop us an email at support@lovesays.com.my

 

WHAT IF THE COUPLE CANCELLED THEIR CAMPAIGN? DO I GET A REFUND?

Yes, you will be able to get a refund minus a fee charged.
